John Wick 3 Poster Has Keanu Reeves Facing Off Against an Assassin Army

We have a brand new poster for John Wick 3: Parabellum. Today is a big day for those who have been following the tale of the legendary assassin John Wick over the last few years. The trailer for the third installment of the franchise finally arrived, giving us our best look at what Keanu Reeves is going to be up against this summer. This latest poster further drives home the point that the deck is going to be stacked against him, as our man Mr. Wick is facing down a literal army of assassins.

The studio had released several posters prior to this one, but this seems like the best encapsulation of what's coming down the pipeline as can possibly be captured in a single image. We see John Wick, pistol in hand in the cold blue of night. In the shadows opposite him, countless guns from other well-dressed contract

Deadpool Writers Say They Expect There To Be A Third Film

Though Charles Xavier and his peers still have at least one more adventure to go in the form of Dark Phoenix, a lot of fans are already looking ahead with excitement to the fresh start for the X-Men saga that the Disney/Fox merger is expected to bring. X-Force, on the other hand is a different matter, with the Deadpool series currently carrying a lot more momentum with both critics and the filmgoing public than the property it spun off from.

With that in mind, it came as no surprise to see the backlash that greeted the recent rumor that X-Force could be one of the many X-Men-related projects to get dropped in the transition to Disney, with even Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld sharing a few words of commiseration. But while we still don’t know for sure if this ensemble flick will ever see the light of day,

Netflix's High Flying Bird Trailer Hits the Basketball Court with Zazie Beetz

Netflix has released the first trailer for High Flying Bird. In recent years, Netflix has been pouring billions of dollars into premium content, and that has attracted a lot of A-list talent to come and work for them, as opposed to going through the studio system. This represents another major talent who has made the move to the streaming world, as Ocean's Eleven director Steven Soderbergh has made his latest for Netflix. And instead of telling a tale about a heist or male strippers, he's taken on the world of professional basketball.

As we see right off the bat, this movie is going to be dealing with the famous NBA lockout, which saw the entire organization grind to a halt. No games being played. No players doing what they're paid to do. No fans filling stadiums. None of it. The drama comes into play when a power struggle is set

Monopoly has just acquired the proverbial Marvin Gardens of a Hollywood movie treatment. While, Hasbro’s iconic board game, in which players aim to achieve financial domination one dice roll at a time, has been the focus of movie plans for quite some time, Lionsgate is finally moving forward with the project, having nabbed a headliner and director.

Kevin Hart is set to star in the Monopoly movie, and he’ll be directed by helmer with whom he has history in Tim Story, reports Deadline. Indeed, Story was the director of signature movies for the comedy superstar, Hart, such as the two Ride Along films and the two Think Like a Man films. Moreover, genre fans will know Story’s work from the previous film franchise iteration of Marvel

‘Once Upon A Deadpool’ Secures China Date In Mouthy Merc’s First Middle Kingdom Move

‘Once Upon A Deadpool’ Secures China Date In Mouthy Merc’s First Middle Kingdom Move
In a first for Deadpool, the Merc with the Mouth has been granted a China release. Fox’s sequel, Deadpool 2, in its PG-13 version Once Upon A Deadpool, has been slated for January 25 in the Middle Kingdom where the original 2016 movie and its 2018 follow-up were too raunchy and racy for the market.

The iteration that’s headed to China in 10 days’ time is the mutated take on DP2 that includes a framing device featuring franchise star Ryan Reynolds and The Princess Bride‘s Fred Savage.

While the release will come just 10 days ahead of the start of the Chinese New Year influx of local pics, it’s thought there is pent-up demand for a Deadpool movie in the superhero-loving market — DP2 has a 7.5 on Douban. Given the nature of Deadpool, and the tweaked version, this remains somewhat uncharted territory in terms of comps. The last X-Men movie to release in China was 2017’s Logan,

‘Deadpool 2’ Secures China Release Date

  • Variety
The Merc with a Mouth is officially coming to China. Or at least, a Merc with a somewhat washed-out mouth.

Fox is releasing a PG-13 reimagining of “Deadpool 2” in the Middle Kingdom on Jan. 25, Variety has confirmed. The Mandarin Chinese title translates to “Deadpool 2: I Love My Home,” and promotional posters tout Ryan Reynolds’ masked hero coyly covering his mouth with the words “I just won’t tell you.”

A partially bowdlerized cut, titled “Once Upon a Deadpool,” was first released in December. It brought in around $6 million in the States and just under $1 million overseas during its two-week run. During its initial theatrical showing over the summer, the R-rated superhero comedy pocketed $734 million worldwide. Fox added ticket sales from “Once Upon a Deadpool” to the bounty of “Deadpool 2” so its domestic tally now stands at $324 million, along with $412 million from international markets.

It’s unclear if

How ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Crossed $750 Million at Global Box Office – Even Without China

Fox’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” has become an unlikely box office champion — showing surprising legs both in English-language territories and overseas.

In its first 12 weeks of release, the biopic of the British rock band Queen and frontman Freddie Mercury has grossed more than $772 million worldwide, with $574 million coming from overseas — even without a release in China.

Fresh off its Golden Globes wins for Best Motion Picture – Drama and lead actor Rami Malek, “Rhapsody” earned another $2.2 million domestically this weekend.

Moreover, the Fox release has been one of the studio’s most profitable hits: With a production budget of $52 million, it’s the only film in the top 15 of 2018 worldwide box office with a budget of less than $100 million.

‘The Expendables’: Sylvester Stallone Liked Terry Crews So Much He Rewrote the Script
If you’ve been on the internet in the last several years, you already know that just about everyone loves Terry Crews. That includes Sylvester Stallone, who was so impressed by him during production of “The Expendables” that he rewrote a crucial scene to give his co-star more screentime — which is not at all the direction Crews thought things were going.

“When I was on that movie, I wasn’t getting a lot of light and they kept changing the script and I just kept disappearing,” Crews told Entertainment Weekly. “I was like, ‘You know what, I’m gonna mail it in. I’m gonna say my lines and go home. I wanna get out of here.’ And something told me, ‘Terry, this is an opportunity of a lifetime. You have this chance to make history.’”

It worked: “All of a sudden, Sly’s like, ‘You know what, I like that.

X-Force, Gambit and Doctor Doom Movies All Dead at Fox?

It looks like X-Force, Gambit, and Doctor Doom are all shelved. Many were wondering how Disney's acquisition of Fox would affect any of the current Marvel projects that are in development, and with the deal reportedly set to finalized in March, we may have lost three movies. It appears that Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios may have other plans of introducing the Fox Marvel properties to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which could be a good thing in the long run. Feige and the studio have an excellent track record of bringing Marvel Comics to the big screen.

Out of the three movies, it appears that Gambit and Doctor Doom are completely toast. Both projects have been in development for quite some time without any forward momentum. Gambit came close to starting production with Channing Tatum in the starring role. Since talks of the acquisition started happening, many believed there
