Lucy in the Sky Trailer Takes Natalie Portman on a Life-Changing Trip to Space

Lucy in the Sky Trailer Takes Natalie Portman on a Life-Changing Trip to Space
The first trailer for Lucy in the Sky is here. Natalie Portman is, without question, one of the finest actresses working in the business. Not only does she deliver the goods every single time she shows up on screen, but the Oscar-winner has displayed an incredible amount of range and can seemingly do any type of role, in any type of movie. This time around, she's playing an astronaut in an intriguing tale that is loosely based on a true story.

For context, this movie is loosely based on the story of real-life Nasa Captain Lisa Nowak. In 2007, following her time in space, Nowak drove nearly 1,000 miles from Texas to Florida, armed with a knife and a Bb gun, to confront her former boyfriend, astronaut William Oefelein, along with his new girlfriend, Air Force Captain Colleen Shipman. Nowak was arrested and charged with attempted kidnapping. It's very clear that the movie,

As part of their landmark $71.3 billion deal, they will own all of the movie studio 20th Century Fox, which includes the X-Men and Fantastic Four character rights. Ultimately, that means Deadpool is coming along for the ride. With that in mind, Reynolds had a very appropriate response to the news that the merger is a done deal.

Ryan Reynolds has had a good sense of humor about this whole thing ever since the deal was first announced. The Deadpool movies have been R-rated affairs and, historically speaking, Disney doesn't make R-rated movies. However, both CEO Bob Iger and Disney Studios chief Alan Horn have indicated that R-rated movies can exist under the new structure. Taking to Twitter,

Cgr’s Immersive Premium Format Outperforms Imax in France (Exclusive)

  • Variety
While premium large formats such as Imax, Dolby Cinema and 4Dx played a key role in boosting France’s box office in 2018, the Immersive Cinema Experience (Ice) launched by French multiplex chain Cgr proved to be the country’s most popular premium format.

‘Captain Marvel’ To Thaw Winter Box Office Deep Freeze With $350M+ Global Warming
Here comes Captain Marvel to the rescue and to set the box office back on track.

The domestic comp to last year has been off by as much as 26% and that’s largely because we’re comparing this year to a Black Panther-fueled winter a year ago. Well, business is about to get better for 2019 as Disney’s Captain Marvel, the first Marvel movie since July’s Ant-Man and the Wasp is hoping to rocket-charge to a $150M start in U.S./Canada and a $350M worldwide opening, which would be higher than DC’s Wonder Woman ($228.3M), Justice League ($278.8M), and Fox/Marvel’s Deadpool 2 ($300.4M), and just under Black Panther‘s Ww first frame of $371.4M. What’s giving further juice to the lofty Captain Marvel stateside forecast is that we’re hearing the pic’s advance ticket sales are beating that of Captain America: Civil War.
