Storyline

Something terrible is definitely happening in the a peaceful suburban community as, day by day, former caring parents mysteriously turn into ravenous carriers of an unfathomable pandemic that targets their offspring. Suddenly, like every son and daughter in the entire nation, teenage Carly and Josh Ryan must run for their lives, as the rage-filled murderous intent is as unstoppable as it is inexplicable. Before long, the Ryans' usual simmering familial tensions take on a completely different meaning. Kids, stop hiding. Mom and Dad love you so much.

In one scene, Cage's character has a quick flashback into his younger years where he is driving recklessly with a topless woman straddling him. This sequence is also used for Christopher Meloni's character Nick Sax in Happy! Season 2 Episode 1 "The War on Easter" when he has a flashback into his younger years during a sit-down with his daughter's teacher. Brian Taylor directed both the movie and the episode.

Old age having a go at youth, with lots of blood

My favourite 2017 midnight madness film.

Colourful characters, crazy plot, stylized violence.

Typical late night slasher flare. Nicholas cage is back to the wild crazed character type he played so well in "Raising Arizona".

I think actors like taking a break from heavy acting to do an occasionally zany role like this in the presence of a raucous midnight screening audience.

Thanks for coming Nick and Selma.

It was a lot of fun.
