F9: The Fast Saga

Red Digital Cinema paid for heavy product placement of their Hydrogen One smartphone. However, poor sales caused the company to discontinue it and exit the smartphone business in November 2019 after filming had completed, but months before the film was to be released. The COVID-19 pandemic delayed the film to mid-2021, over a year after the phone was discontinued.

While blasting a jerry-rigged Pontiac Fiero off of the back of an airplane into outer space is already implausible, Tej and Roman ending up in the Earth's orbit only a short distance from both the enemy satellite and, later, the International Space Station is truly impossible.

A quick scene featuring the return of Deckard Shaw interrupts the closing credits.

The director's cut version runs 150 minutes.
