"As the problems of the world become more and more complex, the solutions become clear and simple..." Set amidst the stunning Shenandoah Valley, in Northern Virginia, 'Polyface Farm' is led by the "world's most innovative farmers" (TIME Magazine) and uses no chemicals, while feeding over 6,000 families and many restaurants, and food outlets, within a 3-hour 'foodshed' of their farm. Not everyone will become a farmer, but if you are thinking about it, watch this film. The Salatins are the real deal. I have met them and visited Polyface twice now. They are who they say they are. Polyface Farm is a truly sustainable farm, and they practice what they preach. The film does a great job of telling about their history and what they have been able to accomplish. The "proof is in the pudding" so to speak.
Watch the film even if you have no interest in becoming a farmer; you eat don't you? Get to know where your food comes from. Ask the next questions about the food you eat, then find a farm near you like Polyface and support them. This way of farming can save the planet.
A special thank you to the Dohertys for making this film. I know it took great personal sacrifice, but this film can make a difference. Blessings to you all.
