Host Adrian Chiles gets back in touch with his Roman Catholic roots during a visit to Rome. He rides his Vespa scooter around the city with his favourite priest, Father Gianni, riding pillion. The pair join a large crowd in St Peter's Square to hear a Papal address and later an 80-year-old Cardinal tries to remain unflustered as Adrian makes his first confession in eight years. Adrian then learns that converting to Judaism is not quite as simple as he first though while observing the Sabbath with a Jewish family. He then travels to Marseille to cook with some nuns before visiting a Roman Catholic school where 80% of the pupils are Muslims.
