Can't Believe There's One Episode Left
26 March 2017 | by jrsimmons-24621See all my reviews

Perhaps the best episode of the show yet. I don't typically love flashbacks, but they just did it right. Never have we loved the characters of John Silver and Captain Flint as a collective more than we do tonight. Luke Arnold and Toby Stephens were brilliant. The filming was terrific, and this was only benefited by the immensely beautiful scenery. We lost a lot of characters tonight, but we learned how deep the friendship of John Silver and Captain Flint is. We learned how much Flint has come to respect Silver. We have seen a total transformation of both of them, and it was portrayed in perfect fashion. I can't believe there's only one episode left, but I have to say, once more, bravo to the cast and crew of this show. Truly the most underrated show out there.

And BTW, huge thanks to Madi for finally being the person to tell Rogers, to his face, that he is the result of all the death and violence around him. Sadly, he is too far consumed to accept this truth.
