Excellent Documentary
21 November 2017 | by bphoegSee all my reviews

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to read Paul M. Somers' book, Lake Michigan's Aircraft Carriers (Images of America), and first learned in-depth about this important piece of history. Last night, I viewed a screening of Heroes on Deck at our local library where I work as the IT Director. The documentary is very well done, shot beautifully and clearly shows the important work being done to preserve our local Chicago history. Even better was the fact that Harvey Moshman (Executive Producer, Director of Recovery Photography) was on hand to answer questions from the audience. I highly recommend this film, and hope everyone can witness this visual masterpiece.
