Trivia

Elliot (Rami Malek) torrents the film he and Darlene (Carly Chaikin) watch in the flashback. A torrent is a file-sharing protocol used to transfer data from peer to peer. The torrent file contains the metadata needed for users to find the desired file and download it, generally by using tracker software such as uTorrent. Torrenting is by far the most common method of illegal distribution of audio and video files, via sites such as The Pirate Bay, and is regarded as violating distribution copyrights held by audio and video producers. Deep Filler

I wasn't very happy with this episode. I did not enjoy the first sequence, it was long and I didn't get into the feeling that was wanted for it (+ I'd like to know when this flashback actually took place, couldn't understand it myself).

(mentioning scenes, no big spoilers!) The end and dream sequence was by far the best happenings in the episode, since it shows that Elliot actually crave friends and "normal company". It's all starting to feel more and more like X- files, conspiracies that you don't understand everything about and the music choices were really weird? I am a big fan of Mr Robot, and this episode felt like a middle one. Some new things, not much, will not remember it for the better. I am disappointed though, since the starter episodes have been marvellous. Maybe I didn't give this episode as much concentration as it should have, but I honestly couldn't stare at the screen all the time during this episode.
