Storyline

A new ride share service app called RYDE is taking over what used to be the Taxi industry. It's cheaper and has more of a "friend giving you a ride" type of feel. With so many people using this fun new platform, how safe is it? When a PSYCHOPATH takes over the identity of a Ryde driver, everyone who uses this app will be at the mercy of this maniac. Getting a RYDE is as simple as a few clicks away, but getting out alive won't be so easy.

A movie you're either going to love or hate
16 November 2017 | by politehereSee all my reviews

The movie is very sleek with nice cinematography. The acting is very natural and they act like real-life people apart from their pretty faces of course. The killings are disturbing, but not too gory. You know the killer's identity. You don't know his motivation, but you know what he's going to do: kill whoever gets in his car. There's no real mystery here and from the get-go you know who is going to survive and who is going to die. It's just a matter of how. There has been no attempt at thinking of an innovative way to survive. It's just what anyone would do in the same situation. It's like watching a pretty ordinary serial killer do his job in the dead of the night in cold blood. There are no twists and there are very few surprises. The movie is pretty straight forward. What makes this movie somewhat disturbing is that it could happen to anyone and that the way the victims are killed is simple but brutal, which makes it believable. This is a movie you're either going to love or hate. I stand somewhere in the middle, but since I was not bored, I give it an above average rating.
