A comedy about a woman who saves her chicken farm and her family by agreeing to be the subject of a "reality show" with a celebrity Hollywood weight loss expert. Both women change and discover the true meaning of success.
A 65-year-old single artist living in New York City has a good life: a stable teaching job, successful friends, and a loyal, aging dog named Bing. As her dream of a respectable place in the art world becomes more elusive, her frustration with her lack of recognition feels alarmingly urgent.
It's just like a piece of art. I liked looking at it but did not fully understand it's meaning.
Think I got a pretty good grasp on the main character, a seasoned woman still struggling to find success as an artist in the art world, trying to do something that will get her name recognized.
Like the great nod to indi film making, I noticed one of the sets looks like it was a place used in the film Tiny Furniture. It's like Lena Duhnum was asked for more than just to do a cameo in the film.
Not my style
