The Biggest Performance of Rodrigo's Life
6 February 2017 | by See all my reviews

This is a strange episode. The orchestra has invaded Mexico. Rodrigo needs to depend on Hailey because his assistant stupidly let his passport expire. The key dramatic stuff, however, involves the guy who plays first violin, who saved Rodrigo's bacon in that opening concert, says he has been mugged and his violin stolen. There's more to the story. But most of the episode is a stupid car chase as they attempt to avoid the police. There are concert scenes and some schmoozing with rich people, but the rest is a kind of throwaway. Rodrigo finally gets to meet his mentor after the concert, which goes pretty well. There will be some hell to pay when the orchestra returns to New York, however.
