Throughout this production the USA's decision not to trade with Cuba is referred to as a blockade. Viewers may be left with the impression that evil ole Uncle Sam has surrounded the island with gunboats, preventing any ships going in or out. That is not the case, Cuba has always been free to trade with the 600+ million folk of Latin America & the rest of the world.
