HATED IT! Worst movie ever made!!!
16 February 2019 | by sephula-09237See all my reviews

The following are my watch notes (written down as I was watching the film in progress):

Acting sucks. Cast is mid-20s, not mid-teens, and all seem disingenuous. Drama teacher too camp, and had to grow a beard just to appear older than the other cast members, even though they are really the same age. All gay cast makes it feel like an alternate universe. Also, boy band? In what alternate universe? Not relatable, at all. Whole movie seems made by a high school student. Soundtrack sucks like they used auto-tune. There are multiple logical errors, like how they are all in the same drama class together, but one is only 14 turning 15, while another is driving a muscle car? It's the cheap all-gay rip off of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower". Shamelessly glorifies drug abuse. The classic "My parents forgot my birthday"? OK LAME!!! Now, it's ripping off "Sixteen Candles", too!!! What a joke!!! It has to hit every cliche, and every stereotype there is. All this "I'm the victim" crap just for the sake of drama. It's even worse than a Lifetime movie. OH NO!! Now, it's ripping off "Say Anything"? I'm done! This movie SUCKS!!! It's like it's mocking you for being stupid enough to watch it. Honestly, the worst movie I have ever seen, and I usually like low budget LGBT movies. OH!!! But, NOT this one! This is garbage!!! How did this movie ever get published? It feels like it's being bad on purpose for the sake of poking fun at people for watching it! I'd almost say it's anti-gay, if not for the obviously gay cast. At the end, the timeline just starting jumping around erratically. OH! Here we go! And, now we learn that one of the characters is named "Jack Yahoff"? Now, it really IS throwing insults at the viewer. OMG! What a lame ending. You've got to be kidding me! I'm ashamed as a gay man, for all the gay people involved in the making of this piece of trash. Stupidity like this gives us gays a bad name. I want to go back in the closet out of shame for my people, after watching this. This movie could make a person want to commit suicide for real out of shame. It shouldn't be allowed to exist.

Please, don't think all gays are like this. And, please seek help if you are feeling self-destructive.
