Trivia

The stamp hanging on Emmitt's (Ewan McGregor) wall shows an icon of Sisyphus, a character in Greek mythology. It is a reference to season 2 of Fargo in which Sisyphus' fate has been a topic in various discussions. Its third episode was also called Fargo: The Myth of Sisyphus (2015). See more »

Goofs

After the bridge tournament, Ray and Nikki celebrate their finish as third runner-up, which Ray compares to the bronze medal at the Olympics. However, third runner-up is fourth place, as the first runner-up is second. Later at Nikki's apartment, there is a shot of a certificate that says "Third Place," so they did finish third, but were actually second runner-up. See more »

Fargo season 3
29 April 2017 | by See all my reviews

I was waiting with great anticipation for season 3 of Fargo because 1 and 2 were so well done. Season 3 is a big disappointment. The droopy Brit character is annoying; what professional does not know how to google and find enter (my 93 year old dad can) and how can Gloria get on without at least exchanging emails (on a computer)with HQ? The story may be true but the interpretation is fast and real loose. Why didn't Emit and his partner go to the police, even if he had done something shady? Characters (with exception of Emit and his partner) are weak and the acting is phony. I may be spoiled after watching Sopranos but the Coen Bros should be ashamed to put their stamp on this one.
