A good Simpsons episode
28 August 2018 | by dwelchappleidSee all my reviews

People bash the newer episodes and entire seasons for being lackluster, but I have two things in response to that:

A) It's unfair to compare a show's quality from when it was a landmark in comedy to almost 30 years after its beginning. B) This episode proves The Simpsons still provides genuine entertainment.

This episode contains some clever and funny lines and an original story/plot, and is certainly one of the better episodes I've seen in recent years. Was it perfect? Maybe not - it wasn't the most in-depth Cuba coverage they could have done - but I'd be hard pressed to say it wasn't entertaining.
