Sony Animation's first theatrical triquel. This does not include Open Season 3 (2010), as that film was released straight to DVD, same said for Smurfs: The Lost Village (2017), which was a CGI spin-off to the Smurfs films rather than being another sequel. See more »
When diving at the underwater volcano, Mavis takes a picture of Drac and looks at it. In the 2nd movie, Mavis and Johnny's wedding pictures show only Johnny because vampires don't show up in pictures. The picture should have scuba gear but no Drac. See more »
Sometimes films have deeper meanings to them and adult jokes throughout, but this one certainly didnt. I (20yr) went with my 8yr old sister who enjoyed it but wasn't raving about it. We went to see the Incredibles 2 earlier this month which was much better than this. However, if you're looking for a nice PG film to keep the kids entertained during the summer than this movie is what you're looking for.
