Sex & Nudity

  • A woman takes off her top. Her breasts are shown.
  • There are two sex scenes. The first is brief, with the second being slightly longer. Both are shot with low lighting. We see thrusting and bare breasts but no genitals.
  • A woman is seen going to the toilet to urinate. Part of her buttocks is briefly seen and we can hear her urinating. She wipes herself, however no frontal nudity is shown.
  • A man is seen showering. No frontal nudity.
  • The main character is a prostitute of sorts, though she considers herself to be more of a hostess who will only sleep with the men whom she is interested in.
  • A woman is seen masturbating. No genitals are shown but there is a close-up of her rubbing the front of her panties. The scene is brief.
  • There is a scene where a woman teaches a man to French kiss, which leads to sex.

Violence & Gore

  • A character is bludgeoned to death off screen with a fire poker. We hear him crying out in pain
  • A character falls and gashes their knee open. It becomes infected and we see a close up of the infected wound while she gets a shot of antibiotics injected into her knee.
  • A character vomits on-screen, however no actual bodily fluids are visible.

  • Casual drinking is shown, for example, at a restaurant.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A young female is kidnapped by a man and held captive. This is the primary focus of the film.
  • The film features a very controlling, Stockholm syndrome-type relationship. Many of the scenes between these two characters are intense.
  • There is an overall sense of danger, impending doom and hopelessness throughout the entire movie, as the main character is a young female prostitute surrounded by older, often predatory men. There are very bleak tones which some viewers may find depressing.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • One character's grandmother is shown to be in a coma. The doctors say she may wake up soon, however it is very unlikely that she would be able to walk or communicate ever again. The character tells the doctors to switch off her life support, and she dies off-screen. This may be upsetting to some viewers.
