I read the other reviews and was amazed by most of them because I really enjoyed this movie. I watched it one rainy afternoon and would happily have watched it again straight afterwards.
I thought the acting was good and the relationships between the characters were friendly, good-natured and kind. There wasn't a single mean spirited or unkind person in this movie, which I think makes a very nice change. No-one wished anyone harm, no-one was jealous, no- one wanted to dish the dirt or ruin a relationship or steal a job/promotion.
I didn't find it in the least bit boring, and I thought the scene in the cake shop was really cute.
I know that not everyone likes the same things, but for anyone looking for a genuine family movie where people are kind, happy and seem to genuinely care about each other this would be an excellent movie to choose.
