a low quality of this episode
3 December 2015 | by katerinahlSee all my reviews

I'm a big fan of "The good wife" since the beginning but I think that the quality of the TV show is getting down and it seems like it's turning into a soap opera. If you compare an episode from the last season and this one (s07e09) you will see the difference. It doesn't have to do with the actors or the screenplay but something is wrong, maybe the setting. Furthermore, everything seems to be predictable and it is a pity, because until now you were able to have small surprises shown in a very "classy" way. Fortunately, the actors who grace the TV show (like Christine Baranski) are still there, but I can't understand why did they make Matthew Goode go somehow. It's like they're trying to enforce every male personage to have an affair with Alicia and when there is somebody new, like the investigator, they need to "hide" the other guys. I hope that this is something temporary and it will get better.
