Storyline

Biopic fictionalized about the life of one of the great sumo champions of the post-war period, the so-called Nayoroiwa. After a bitter and masterful failure during an important tournament, in the year 1950, where all his supporters advised him to abandon the competition, our man is entering a dark period, where the misery and the memories of a glory now over. However, despite his illness, our man does not give up and by dint of obstinacy, tenacity and training, he will manage to find the top of the poster of sumotori.
