Very bad movie about amazing person
7 June 2016 | by jakilczSee all my reviews

Witold Pilecki is a real hero, he went by choice to Aushwitz concentration camp to check conditions there and to give real report to western countries about what's happening in there. Later he managed to run away from this hell on earth. And fight in conspiracy till end of war. After the war communist regime arrested him and tortured as enemy of the state. He deserves recognition and praise, but this movie is so bad that it won't give him any of it. That's a real Shame. Looks like director didn't have idea if it's documentary or feature film. So it's mix of both. And none of the parts is good. I think the only good parts are quotes from his real diary. A bit too little for the whole movie.
