Storyline

The oppressive laws that have spawned from theocratic regime in which he finds himself have effectively banned all films - thus, the theater is slowly dying. Dejected, he spends his days mulling about alone and has resorted to introducing made-up films to his nonexistent audiences. This all changes when a welcomed traveler, Mabel, stumbles into Leo's onerous community. The two become fast friends and lovers, and Mabel conjures up an interesting method of circumventing the film restrictions. Ultimately, however, their novel efforts still fail to please the brutal townspeople. Written by Mark Feigenbutz
