Jessica Sarah Flaum,
Representative Democracy, lunacy, and the dangers of an uneducated, apathetic electorate.
Set in a high school classroom, we the audience are schooled by an amazing cast of characters. An incredible narrative film with stunning performances, especially from such a young cast. A nimble commentary on representative democracy, our educational systems, an apathetic electorate, with hints of decaying social fabric, gun control issues, nuclear proliferation, etc. An engaging heavy hitting short! Super impressed with the cinematography and direction! Art direction, wardrobe, hair and makeup, and lighting all look so seamless! Captivating from the first beat to the final scene. Brings up so much more beyond the context of the short. A definite must see! Really proud of filmmakers like these that put themselves out there and create challenging thought provoking content.
