Agree -- one of the best ever, nail-biting suspense, makes you want to take a break and go play with the cat.
But there is a trick to this.
When you build an episode that simultaneously threatens the lives of ALL the characters you have grown to care about, the suspense only works if deep down you believe the writers are just crazy enough to take a regular on the series to make a point.
As I was biting my nails I asked myself if the writers are that crazy.
Answer -- yes they are.
Maybe not as crazy as the writers on Banshee (still the nuttiest and riskiest bunch in the biz, I think) but they are
Props to them
