After a car accident claims the life of his fiancée, Owen Jenson returns home to find that things aren't quite what they seem. Trapped in his home apartment, with no way out apart from a door which is boarded and chained shut from the inside, Owen has just one question; who's doing this to him? Nights of Contrition is a psychological thriller, horror film. Unlike traditional horror films, N.O.C attempts to use a more subtle build up of tension and suspense as opposed to jump scares and gore. The film attempts to use juxtaposition in order to create an original image. It's rather unusual to use a modern condominium as a setting for horror- and it's almost just as unlikely to have this much classical piano. What we aimed to create was something truly unique, and hopefully, memorable.
