Paul Rudd really did learn close up magic for this movie. "I really did learn some of the magic. I haven't really kept it up. But then again, trying to learn to be really good at magic in a short amount of time is like trying to learn violin in a short amount of time."

Goofs
(at around 14 mins) When Hope is driving Scott to the lab, their SUV is confronted by pigeons and one of the pigeons pecks a dent in the hood. When the SUV is brought back to full size, the dent is gone.

Crazy credits

Following this, there is a statement at the end of the closing credits: "Ant-Man and the Wasp will return?".

Just Fun & Inventive.

While the villains are weak (typical of the MCU overall) this movie is a worthy sequel to Ant-Man.

I think there's a group looking to slam this film with excessively negative reviews. No clue what their endgame is, unless they're DC loyalists tired of Marvel winning out repeatedly.

Whatever the case may be, I'm looking forward to the further adventures of Scott Lang. And plenty of others are as well.
