Storyline

When Noelle, a timid California fine arts graduate student, is invited to a party by a handsome classmate she has a crush on, a vicious sexual assault and a blood-stained reaction will give birth to a totally different woman. But, much to Noelle's surprise, as an unexpected surge of inspiration gradually fuels her stagnant artistic expression, an insatiable thirst for revenge on all those who destroyed the lives of innocent women will begin to devour her. Who shall stand in the way of this seductive, yet pitiless vigilante? In the end, is seduction really a dying art? Written by Nick Riganas

Rape vigilante
1 January 2018 | by deloudelouvainSee all my reviews

I see there are a lot of mixed feelings about M.F.A. It will for sure not win any awards but it's still good enough to entertain you on a cold winter night. The story might not be overly developped but it's easy to understand and to watch. Not really a revenge movie, more a vigilante movie of a rape victim taking justice in her own hands. Francesca Eastwood did a good job playing her character. The rest of the cast wasn't bad either, nothing great, but not bad either. I would have made the killing scenes a bit bloodier and more sadistic to make it a better horror movie. I think that would have been better for the movie and this genre of movie. All in all it's an okay movie if you don't have too much expectations.
