Dr. Emily Grace: Good morning, Lillian.
Lillian Moss: Last day as Dr. Grace.
Dr. Emily Grace: Just because I'll no longer be Toronto's coroner doesn't mean I'll cease being a doctor.
Lillian Moss: Of course.
Dr. Emily Grace: How are you progressing next door?
Lillian Moss: Everything's packed up; only some final errands to see to.
Dr. Emily Grace: Then, could I trouble you to pick up my dress from the seamstress?
Lillian Moss: Of course. To think, in only a few days we'll be crossing the Atlantic for London, England. I cannot wait.

Finally the terrible storyline is OVER
4 June 2017 | by sdeer-87651See all my reviews

Our household just discovered Murdoch a few months ago and we've been enjoying the wonderful historical people and inventions in it, but were so terribly disappointed when they had to ruin it with this politically correct storyline in it, that made absolutely no sense to the plot. We quit watching it from Season 8 episode 12 through Season 9 episode 3 because we have no desire to watch homosexual shows. Finally they took the storyline off!!! It's great. I hope they go back to being a great, clean mystery with lots of interesting inventions, the fun of the show. We don't want social commentary, only a true period piece. We no longer tell everyone we know about this show without telling them about this ridiculous storyline so that friends with kids can also be careful with what shows in their homes. Thanks IMDb for having episode breakdowns so we were able to read ahead and find out where this sub-plot ended so we could pick up watching it again after the rubbish ended. It helps a lot.
