Set over three days; two very different women who fall in love with each other. Jasmine is a successful fashion editor living with her fiancé in Toronto. On a Friday night while out in the city with her best friend Claire, she meets Dallas, a female roofer recently out of a relationship. Surprised by the confidence with which the two very different women connect, Jasmine becomes infatuated with the mysterious woman who is working with a crew on the house next door to hers. The chance meeting soon turns into desire that ignites in Jasmine when she becomes more acquainted with Dallas which leads her to accompany Dallas to her low-rent loft where the two women soon engage in passionate sex. Erika Linder was cast by director April Mullen after seven "auditions". Mullen was searching on Google using the keywords "Fresh Faces of 2015" to help generate leads for the role of Dalla, who was supposed to turn heads whenever she walks into a room. Mullen came across a black-and-white video of Linder and was immediately captivated. In the video, Linder only says, "Yo, that's my audition." Mullen wasn't even sure Linder was fluent in English. She shared her find with producer Melissa Coghlan and screenwriter Stephanie Fabrizi. After meeting with Linder in person in Los Angeles and learning she spoke English, and that she had no prior acting experience, the trio collectively felt that Linder should refrain from taking acting classes prior to the shoot to maintain Linder's natural allure. In Toronto it is illegal to wander in the street with any alcoholic beverage let alone walk in to an establishment with an open container (The establishment could have its liquor licence revoked for this infraction). The camera follows Dallas across Dundas Street and into Filmores Hotel passing a bouncer while she is carrying a bottle in her right hand. See more »
You're persistent. Look at you, pushing...
I gave myself a hernia. My mom told me if I acted more like a girl, I wouldn't get hurt all the time.
Did you want to be a boy?
I just wanted her to let me be.

Sexy but Ironically Flat
This is pretty much the prequel to Shane McCutcheon before she moves to LA. The dialog wasn't there and there wasn't a lot of character development. Honestly the main character, I'll just call her Shane, was boring as hell and is kind of an asshole. The sex scenes were good, but awkward at some points. But overall it was a pretty boring film
