Very knowledgeable and creditable documentary on Vaping vs. Smoking
A documentary that needs to be watched by all. Vaping can and does have the power to save lives, while simultaneously putting an end to the power hungry organizations and institutions, who have been poisoning people for far too long
Lots of unbiased research due to the director being neither a smoker or a vaper. This documentary will shed light on many institutions that govern and regulate cigarettes and e-cigarettes. It examines various facets of Big Tobacco, Big Pharma, and FDA, while also interviewing doctors, business owners, electronic cigarette users, and just people in the know.

It's possible to fit a LOT of truth into a movie!
This documentary is for everyone! It sheds so much light on government, public health, and one of the most revolutionary medical tools we have ever seen. The title is very fitting and almost astonishing when you realize we are really talking about that many actual human beings real lives! Its refreshing to know that this was shot through the direction of Aaron Biebert, whom is not an electronic cigarette nor a combustible cigarette user, so it has that very raw unbiased, just get down to the truth feel about it. To travel world, and mix this amount of astonishing big factors is very impressive; from Big Tobacco, Big Pharmaceutical companies, FDA, doctors, business owners, electronic cigarette industry, consumers, and just people in the know. I could only hope that all documentaries were shot with such realism and the desire to just get the truth out to people. It's a must see!

A Must See for Everyone
This movie, whilst being touted as a movie about Electronic Cigarettes and Vaping has a much wider context. It outlines clearly the corporate control of everyone in the first world. Mainly, as it relates to health and how countries health experts allow themselves to be the puppets of Big Pharma and Big Tobacco through a very nefarious web of money and power. As an expat American I knew about how things worked in the US from living there but seeing the shock on peoples faces after viewing this movie and the reality that it is happening even here in New Zealand....it was sad to see how duped people are. Hopefully the people who need to see this movie will see this movie and feel a sense of shame for what they are participating in.
Authenticity and Education Can Be Captivating!
Rarely do you find the authenticity and truth that you find in this film. Uninfluenced by finance, this documentary was made and paid for as it has been released. A filmmaker who had a mission to tell the truth with power backed by studies and work, not large corporate interest. A Billion Lives has the power to shape legislation, change peoples minds and save 100's of millions, if not, a billion lives. I am excited for its continued release across the globe and will be waiting with baited breath as it changes minds and educates the people. Beautiful imagery. Diligent research. Emotional storytelling. Influential education. Policy-shaping persuasion. A true David vs. Goliath piece, its gives the movement a voice, it gives the industry a large voice and it helps build a united front over seas and borders.
Worldwide journey seeking the truth for a Billion Lives
The first time in my life I have ever been excited about a documentary! To find someone to be motivated by the truth and not by corporate dollars has been a refreshing journey to see. Director Aaron Biebert and his crew have traveled the world seeking the truth about a new industry. Can it really save lives or is it the newest evil? Why is this new industry so controversial? If it is a live saving tool like so many claim, why are governments around the world scrambling to ban it? Who's paying the lobbyists who campaign against it? If the issue is to get people to quit smoking, why are so many health organizations against this? An eye opening experience to hear the truth from around the world! I just may have to start watching more documentaries!
