Storyline
Did you know
- TriviaSeason 1&2 both had parties in the 12th episode.
- GoofsBabe states that her friend Tina Marie is attending the party via video chat all the way from "the McMurdo Station in Antarctica." The background clearly shows the South Pole Station (800 miles away) with the old dome visible, which was dismantled in the 2009-10 austral summer season. Also, the new station (the taller structure behind her head) doesn't yet have its dark grey cladding which dates this footage to be from about 2007 or earlier.
- Quotes
Grace Hanson: I don't know why she has to blow everything out of proportion. Ya know, I might have said some terrible things to her but I was drunk. I didn't mean it.
Babe: Oh. Really? Did you know in North Korea they use vodka as truth serum.
Grace Hanson: No they don't.
Babe: Then Dennis Rodman's a fucking liar.

Estelle Parsons plays Babe, a neighbor who is known for living life to the fullest. She has been a cancer survivor, but now it has returned with a ferocity and she wants Frankie to assist in her suicide. She decides to throw a big party, invite all her friends, and then retire other bedroom and eat some poison pudding. Grace continues to sulk over her recent encounter with Phil, not knowing that Frankie must decide whether to help her friend bid goodbye to the world. The show is about dying with dignity but raises some questions. Grace's moral stature makes it really hard to accept such a decision. She decides not to attend the party, even though she loves Babe. There is a subplot as Robert and Sol decide to sell Robert's house and start anew in a place of their own. Quite an episode.
