Trivia

Producers were forced to push filming three times as they were unable to find their Irene. They searched all over Canada and the US, in closed casting calls, open casting calls and even in high schools. Star Michelle McLeod was submitted through the US casting agency and producers knew she was perfect. They were shocked to find out, not only is Michelle Canadian, but she lives in Toronto. Light weight entertainment.

This is a fun movie with a light, breezy script. It's easy to watch and doesn't appear to have any deep, dark socio-political statement. If you're looking for nice way to pass an evening, then this is the film for you. To top it off it's almost 100% Canadian made. Enjoy!
