It especially focuses on her most productive years in Worpswede (Germany) and Paris (France). Trivia Scriptwriters Stefan Kolditz and Stephan Suschke already worked on a biopic about Paula Modersohn-Becker for the DEFA-Studios in the GDR. When Producer Ingelore König found out about their work while searching writers for a Modersohn-Becker biopic about 25 years later, she felt like "winning the lottery jackpot". She hired Kolditz and Suschke, who followed a new approach to Modersohn-Becker's life for the script. See more »
