With Mr. Peabody and Sherman's WABAC time machine now public knowledge, the genius dog decides there is only one thing to be done: put on a TV talk show. So, now Peabody and Sherman host just such a program from their penthouse apartment which recounts their improbably time traveling adventures. In addition, the duo also have various guests from the past, when they are not interrupted by their building neighbors or landlord. —Kenneth Chisholm (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Gets better second time around
Streamed a second time while recovering from surgery and enjoyed it quite a bit more than first viewing. Other reviewers disliked the "variety" show theme, but once you understand the concept it is not hard to follow. The side characters: Christine, the neigbors, the pet mammoth all become more charming...and Mr. Peabody's parents are hilarious!!! The animation is crazy good and the color pallettes are to die for. Love how all the strokes are not black, but a deep navy-purple which really helps the colors pop. Would love to take a color theory class from the artists. In the meantime, I've screen-grabbed many of my favorite color combinations. Give the show a second chance....I think you will give it a higher rating.
