The Wonderful World of Dtv: Director Lin Oeding's Braven - 2018

Jason Momoa returns to screens for small scale action thriller Braven (2018), an exciting throwback to the glory days of 1980’s action cinema. It has taken quite a while for Braven to reach screens, with it beginning principal photography back at the tail end of 2015. Since then Momoa starred as Aquaman in one of the most talked about blockbusters of the year, Justice League (2017).With Justice League, the part of Aquaman was altered from his comic book counterpart to better suit the persona of Momoa, going on to become one of the more enjoyable aspects of the films. Similarly his role in Braven is tailor made for Momoa, although the part of Joe Braven is more realistic and relatable than Aquaman, with Momoa taking...

Jason Momoa Says It Was Hard to Find Work After Game of Thrones

One would think after a starring role on HBO's hit show Game of Thrones that Hollywood would open its doors for you. However, Jason Momoa found quite the opposite after his role on the hit show ended.

Jason Momoa confided to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that he wasn't able to find work after Game of Thrones because producers didn't believe that he could speak English after playing Khal Drago. That's right. Producers believed in Khal Drago so much that they didn't believe Momoa could speak English.

Things have definitely picked up for Jason Momoa since the end of his deal with Game of Thrones. The actor is Aquaman in the Justice League movie as well as the standalone movie, which is set to hit theaters on December 21st.

‘Braven’ Trailer: Jason Momoa Throws an Axe at Someone’s Face

‘Braven’ Trailer: Jason Momoa Throws an Axe at Someone’s Face
Manly men Jason Momoa and Stephen Lang find themselves dealing with drug dealers on snowmobiles in Braven, a film with a clunky title and a whole lot of charm. The Braven trailer is filled with the type of glorious action-movie cheese that used to be prominent in the 1980s and 1990s, and I mean that in the best possible […]

Jason Momoa as a Lumberjack in Trailer for Action Thriller 'Braven'

"They pushed him to the edge." Saban Films has launched the first official, international trailer for an action thriller film titled Braven, which we haven't heard much about before now but it looks badass. Starring Jason Momoa as a humble lumberback working on the Us/Canada border, he must fight back to save and protect his family when "elite" drug runners run into some problems with a shipment of heroin. The full cast includes Garrett Dillahunt, Stephen Lang, Jill Wagner, Brendan Fletcher, Sala Baker, and Zahn McClarnon. This looks like another one of these unassuming-man-is-really-a-badass films, but something about Momoa taking on this group of drug goons seems especially awesome to me. It's worth a quick look. Here's the first official trailer for Lin Oeding's Braven, direct from YouTube (via Tmb): When Joe Braven (Jason Momoa), a humble logger residing along the U.S./Canada border is confronted

Filming On Zack Snyder’s Justice League Wraps As Jason Momoa Shares New Pic

Since those cameras began rolling earlier in the year, Zack Snyder and his assembly of DC superheroes have wowed fans with a string of truly memorable Justice League set photos – from the more recent pic of Ben Affleck suited and booted in the tactical Batsuit to the King of the Seven himself, Jason Momoa, jamming on a guitar.

That all comes to an end today, however, now that Snyder has officially called a wrap on principal photography in London – but not before Momoa can squeeze in one final snap ahead of the inevitable wrap party.

Momoa, who will be preparing for The Bad Batch and Lin Oeding’s TV drama Braven before circling back to the role of Arthur Curry, is yet to really strike a chord with the DC faithful; to date, the former Game of Thrones star has only held a throwaway role in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The Crow Remake Wants Jason Momoa as Eric Draven

The Crow Remake Wants Jason Momoa as Eric Draven
Conan and Aquaman may not be the only two iconic comic book characters that are inhabited by former Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa. The Justice League actor is reportedly wanted as the lead in the long-gestating, often-delayed remake of The Crow. Relativity is still behind this impending thriller, with The Hallow director Corin Hardy still attached to helm the stalled project.

This new version of The Crow is said to be a much more accurate adaptation of the beloved graphic novel by James O'Barr. The comic was originally brought to the big screen in 1994 by director Alex Proyas, with Brandon Lee in the lead. As many fans know, an on-set accident took the life of Lee, son of martial arts legend Bruce Lee. Over the years, there have been a number of low-budget sequels, but none of them have ever really connected with fans.

Producer of the original 1994 cult
