A terrific end to an intense season
2 September 2015 | by cheroldSee all my reviews

This has been a rather remarkable season, notable for its intensity and its willingness to burn through characters, either by killing them or putting them in an untenable position. The season also introduced its more terrifying antagonist, Kindzi.

The final episode was less notable for the story than for the emotional punch, which was considerable, and the ending, which leaves open the strong possibility that this was the series finale. I can't really imagine how you continue the series now, although I guess in sci-fi there's always a way back.

While this season had occasional lapses of logic and dispatched of one serious obstacle in a surprisingly, "look how easy that was to fix" way, overall this was terrific from beginning to end.
