A powerless Kara convinces an armed man to not shoot. This mirrors a similar panel with Superman after he becomes powerless as a side effect of his new "Solar Flare" power. See more »

Supergirl: I heard your amazing broadcast today. Thank you.
Cat Grant: Well, thank you for the compliment. Now, where the hell were you? How could you up and leave in the middle of the worst disaster in decades?

Less Flockhart, But Still Watchable
25 January 2017 | by slightlymad22See all my reviews

Plot In A Paragraph: Kara (Mellisa Benoist) struggles with losing her powers as chaos reigns around her, and she is unable to help people.

This is one of the better episodes, as it is clearly leading to a bigger picture, rather than Supergirl just battling a villain of the week.

There is less Calista Flockhart in this episode, which is a shame, as I love her. She is the best thing in the show. Benoist ups her game, and givers her best performance of the series, as the struggling Kara.

We've known for some time that all is not as it seems with Hank, and we get our answers in this episode.

We also get another cliffhanger too!!

All in all one of the better episodes. Hopefully a sign of things to come!!
