Trivia

The stuffed toy left on Winn's desk by his father is a representation of what Toyman looked like in the animated TV show Super Friends (1973). Specifically, that is the second Toyman aka Jack Nimball, who was a short-lived successor of the original Toyman, Winslow Schott, who was killed off by the original in the 1970s. See more »

Goofs

When Winn's father escapes from prison, Winn is interviewed by the FBI who are trying to apprehend his father. However escaped fugitives, especially those that have escaped from federal prisons, fall under the jurisdiction of the United States Marshals Office, not the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Dull, Bland and Uninteresting

After the best few episodes of the first season, The last episode was a let down. This is just an outright disappointment.

WOW what a step down in quality!!

Plot In A Paragraph: Kara (Mellisa Benoist) does her best to support Winn (Jeremy Jordan) when he hears that his father Winslow Schott Sr. breaks out of prison. His father looks for Winn for a reason to become like him. Cat (Calsita Flockhart) offers Lucy Lane (Jenna Dewan Tatum) a job working at CatCo and Alex (Chyler Leigh) asks Hank (David Harewell) to use his powers to find out and uncover Maxwell Lord's (Peter Facinelli) plans.

The idea behind Winn's Dad is a good one, but it's just poorly executed. We get a return to the lame love triangle as Winn tries to kiss Kara, and later declares his love for her, and she in turn is not thrilled that Lucy Lane (James Olsen's) girlfriend has been offered a job.

One of the plus side Hanks character is a lot more interesting now, but Calista Flockharts' Cat Grant is once again sidelined!! And that's a real waste, as she is the best thing in the show.
