Turning his attention back to work following Raquel breaking up with him, Josh goes shopping for a new van with and for the band. In the process, Josh, in an unexpected and inopportune moment, allows the emotions of his life to take over. Shelly shows how having Buzz around has affected her life, those changes which are noticed by Sarah and Ali. In continuing to explain her latest encounter with Leslie, Ali digs herself into a deeper hole with Syd. Ali also learns why nothing happened with Leslie the night she stayed over. Maura takes indirect and direct steps to reconcile with Davina. Instead, she gets closer to Shea and hopes to get closer to her daughters in a feminine sense. And in flashbacks, Grandma Rose's life just prior to emigrating to the US is shown, that life which was not devoid of sexual identity and trans issues of its own. Written by
