Not bad, but not good either...
22 February 2016 | by danstrong-984-344483See all my reviews

A teacher (Kagami Junichirou) renown for his intelligence is forced to get a job as a physics teacher. It has a similar feel to GTO as in he doesn't care much about actually teaching students academically, but I feel that the whole otaku concept helping in life lessons gets old fast (and the whole YD thing). Plus, stereo types everywhere, if you haven't watched GTO, you should because it is very similar but much deeper, it seems that the characters in Ultimate Otaku Teacher, are very stereo-typical and very silly to the point where you cant take the series seriously, which is fine but it doesn't transition well into the more serious bits were you're not sure if he talking sense, well I may be being harsh but I feel its aimed at similar audiences who loved GTO, and for me it falls short but in no sense is this a disaster of an anime its just that my expectation were set high! (I was deciding between a 6 and 7 keep that in mind)
