Excellent Allround movie, Super Hit, Must Watch
2 September 2017 | by karinasingh-59888See all my reviews

So, you've seen OUTIM and loved it. You've also seen Dirty Picture and lapped it up too. Hold your breath casBaadshaho might just take your breath away with its iridescence and engaging quality.Although the second half does lack the same elegance and intensity that keeps you glued to your seats, overall the film has the thrill and the drama for you. Refreshingly, the film balances violence and emotions; the chase could have been more intense. Director Milan Luthria could have been much better; my expectations were high and he did disappoint. But what worked well for me was Ajay Devgn, his power packed performance and his characterization.

And here-in lies the dramatic core of Rajat Arora's dynamic script which catapults all the characters.

Performances: Excellent, across the board. Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi grab eyeballs, like never before, as do the other characters. Both Ileana and Esha are gossamer and Vidyut Jamwal is very convincing as the army man.

Story: Rajat Arora reinvents drama in contemporary cinema.

Dialogues: Awesome. Some of the most compelling conversations you've heard of late on screen.

Cinematography: The period film set in the desserts will make you fall in love and a few could turn nostalgic.

Music: All songs work and the highlight is the background score.

Styling: The 1970s is re-created with several apparent flaws; yet it works as an entertainer. Final verdict: Can be seen once on the big screen.
