Sex & Nudity

  • There is some flirtatious interaction between Gene and Jailbreak,.
  • Hi-5's butt is seen.
  • Some flirting/ suggestive humor, but nothing that exceeds PG level. People who rate it severe are overreacting.
  • Emojis are seen without clothes throughout the movie, but they don't have genitals since it is aimed at younger audiences.
  • Two emojis kiss.
  • Some mild flirting between emojis.

Violence & Gore

  • An emoji is violently jerked around by a robotic arm, and creates a chain reaction that involves emojis jumping to their doom from the cubicles.
  • A picture of a noose is seen when Smiler is talking to Gene.
  • Jailbreak threatens hi-5, saying that if he tells anyone a secret that she will "crack more than his knuckles"
  • Lots of violent scenes only adults should be watching this movie
  • Seeing as it is Emojis, and it is PG rated (in the modern day, at least), it is not bad on violence and cannot show much anyhow.
  • The movie isn't traditionally violent, however, the disturbingly bad jokes and the horrifyingly written storyline make 'a clockwork orange' seem like a my little pony episode.
  • Emojis are disintegrated by robots.
  • An emoji is blasted by fire.

Profanity

  • An emoji is about to say "s**t" but is cut off before he can say it.
  • No language at all, as they really cannot say anything too vulgar or profane for kids.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some alcohol emojis are seen.
  • Theres a bar scene
  • Hi - five makes alcohol jokes such as he wants a bottle of "hackdaniels" and he is referring to Jack Daniels
  • The beer emoji is seen.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This is a family movie, so there's only very mild threat with an emoji deletion threat, and that is the worst of it.
  • There is a threat that all of the emojis will be deleted.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • When someone questions Jailbreak's idea, she explains that it was her idea and then proceeds to deliver a poor, chiche'd feminist speech about women's rights that nobody asked for. Some people might find this attempt to capitalize on feminism disturbing.
