The episode was perfectly OK to me

I thought this episode was perfectly OK, and to those people who are trying to say it was Islamophobic, get a grip! If it's Islamophobic to portray a crime where the perpetrator is a Muslim, then I can think of all manner of other phobias in response to every other episode of Blue Bloods where the perpetrator was African American, gay, or Chinese, for example. If everybody gave voice to their inner professional victim every time something bad was portrayed on TV then we wouldn't have a TV show at all.

Most terrorists that Americans and other western nations have experience with just happen to be Muslim. We're not making this up. Instead of shouting "Islamophobia" all the time, how about we hear some moderate Muslims speaking out against the terrorists? That'd be nice for a change, but I won't be holding my breath.

What actually would have merited the two stars given by other reviewers would be a Commissioner Reagan meeting with Muslim leaders to anguish over speaking his mind and trotting out empty lines like "Islam is a religion of peace" at a press conference. Instead, we got an accurate portrayal of what would have really happened (in fact, this episode was probably sanitized quite a bit already before we got to see it).
