What has happened to this show?

It took me a good few episodes to finally "get" this show. Its unique storytelling, quirky characters, witty sense of humour, but once I did I was hooked for three seasons. Season 4 was a little bit of a struggle, with a few laughs here and there but sticking with it out of nostalgia above all else. Season 5, however, has been nothing short of a trainwreck, and no episode crashed as hard as this one. No part of it is interesting. No part of it is funny. I feel sorry for some of the actors who look as misreable as the viewers surely do. Arrested Development had a good run, but this pitiful season 5 will surely leave a sour taste in the mouths of most loyal fans around.
