Quotes

Saul Berenson: Carrie, what the fuck are we doing here?
Carrie Mathison: We're here because you tried to take me out.
Saul Berenson: That's ridiculous.
Carrie Mathison: No, not really. Someone put my name in your kill box. Did you hear me? Your operation, Quinn taking out jihadis. Someone got inside it, put my name there as a target. Saul Berenson: No.
Carrie Mathison: It...

Directing saved this episode
29 July 2018 | by insideout098See all my reviews

I have to say, Alex Graves did a great job directing this episode. AS I have complained about in the past, there are too many writers and directors in this series to maintain any reasonable level of continuity. But I have to say the pacing, shot angles and intensity, in general, far surpassed the episodes that came before it, in this season, and beyond. I have found myself fast-forwarding though pregnant dramatic sequences that seemed to stretch out to eternity. So this was a pleasant surprise. Mr. Graves should continue to direct this show, and by the way, keep a bevy of writers who actually love what they're doing in the context of Homeland and stay put until the seasons end.
