Crime novelist Victor and his twenty-year-old cello playing son Zack both have become single. During a trip to Scotland they are forced to confront themselves and finally get to know each other. A funny and touching film about fathers who have to grow up and sons who should take life a little more easy.
Leopold Witte and son Tim Linde go to Edinburgh, Scotland for a book signing. They have been kicked out by their partners. In Scotland Linde (Zack) falls for a girl. Witte also has a good time with the publisher's publicist. They read the letter from the wife. They fight and become closer. Edinburgh is beautiful. I love the fishing scenes where a fresh caught salmon is fried on site. The stream water was so clean. The Waterboys' music is wonderful in live concert.
