Storyline

It's Johnny and Moira's anniversary. Because Moira makes it obvious to Johnny that she expects something special to happen to mark the occasion, Johnny decides at the last minute to have a special dinner for two at a restaurant in Elmdale that Roland and Jocelyn had mentioned to them as the most exclusive in the area, and to which Roland and Jocelyn were going to take them to as part of Moira's "welcome to town council" package. That dinner for two becomes a bit awkward when part of their current lives and part of their past lives converge unexpectedly at the restaurant that evening. Meanwhile, Alexis learns second hand from Ted that Mutt is having a party at the barn, to which she was not officially invited. Both Ted and Alexis have to decide if they will swallow their pride and attend the party, the latter who does not know of a certain fourth in what was their triangle. At the party, David and Stevie have a pissing match of sorts in picking up "Jake", that pissing match based ... Written by Huggo

Precious love
30 October 2017 | by blanche-2See all my reviews

James Morrison's fantastic song, "Precious Love" helped to bring the last episode of season 2 to a triumphant close.

Johnny and Moira go to a nice restaurant for their anniversary and run into two old friends from their upper-class days. Meanwhile, Jocelyn and Roland show up because they have a coupon. Naturally, they wind up at the table with Johnny, Moira, and their old friends.

What transpires is a wonderful scene, the best of the series, which marks a change in attitude in Johnny and Moira. Eugene Levy is absolutely marvelous.

The kids, David and Alexis, attend a party -- and some interesting things happen there too.

It all winds up with "Precious Love." Precious indeed.
