Storyline

As a stoned and drunk Danny wakes up in hospital and seeks out his estranged father Jeffries, Katherine, Martine and Anthony finally make it to London, where Martine confesses to Anthony that Jeffries is her mother and Jeffries recalls a painful incident from her past. Whilst waiting to see the minister Anthony passes on Martine's secret to Katherine but the presentation is a disaster as Katherine throws up and a dishevelled Danny shuffles in to admit his shortcomings and offer his resignation. Back in Northampton Nathanial and Angela offer sympathy to Jenny as she prepares to be laid off but she is not the only one as Martine is now sacked following revelations of her affair with the minister, at least allowing for a mother-daughter reconciliation.
