well-made, timely and resonant

This was a very well-made short film that hits you with relevant current-event topics but twists it in a way that you're not expecting. The police violence issue is a hot topic right now and everyone has an opinion. This short film presents you with a situation with pieces that you have to put together and when you do you see the entire short film differently which is the mark of an intelligent film. There was an action sequence that was particularly thrilling. The use of the camera while following the police as they pursue a perp puts you right into the POV of the cops while entering close quarters. it reminded me of a raid scene in L.A. Confidential when Russell Crowe and other cops followed the criminals into a house not knowing what was behind the next turn. Well directed and a good showcase that the filmmaker has the chops to make a quality film.
